Have you ever felt like something was missing, even if you didn’t know what? That’s the feeling Artemis Chains captures in music full of longing, nostalgia, and the good kind of hurt.
Straddling art rock and neoclassical, their melodies guide you through liminality, sleepless nights, and the shadows of grief and existential reflection.
A long-standing presence on the Edinburgh songwriter scene, Artemis co-led The Positive Experience band for five years, hosted Murmurations’ spontaneous improvisation sessions, and has performed across the Scottish festival circuit. With echoes of Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley, and inspirations from Sting, Alice in Chains, and Hiatus Kaiyote, their music is intimate, immersive, and unmistakably their own.
